Even thought I had a great ride yesterday, and was happy I got up to ride Hains Point, and the thunderstorms didn't come as the weather people predicted so HP wasn't flooded, and I said I would meet Mary Elizabeth there, and if I didn't ride in the morning that would mean I have to ride on the trainer tonight (after a fundraiser happy hour), sleep still won.
I managed to go to bed around 10, got really good sleep, but the alarm went off at 5:45 and there was no way I was getting up. Even when the second alarm went off at 5:50, nope. I texted an apology to Mary Elizabeth, rolled over, and slept another 2 hours.
You know what, so worth it. It was needed. It was the right choice. I'll get my workouts in, and will do better next week.

Good quality sleep is as important as the training. A tired body won't work well or recover as quickly.
Also, it's good to see regular posts again. Keep up the good work.
